LinkedIn Integration Privacy Policy

1. LinkedIn Developer Agreement & Data Policy
ChatCoat connects with official LinkedIn APIs (including Share on LinkedIn / w_member_social, openid, profile, and email) to allow users to schedule and publish posts and articles to LinkedIn.
- LinkedIn User Agreement: Governed by the LinkedIn User Agreement.
- LinkedIn Privacy Policy: Our processing of LinkedIn data complies with the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.
2. LinkedIn Member Data Collected
When you authenticate with LinkedIn OAuth, we access:
- Member Identity: LinkedIn Member URN/ID, full name, email address, profile picture URL, and headline.
- Access Tokens: OAuth 2.0 access token, token expiration timestamp, and authorized scopes.
- Post Content & Media: Post text, URLs, image/document attachment metadata, and published share URNs.
3. How We Use LinkedIn Data
LinkedIn data is used exclusively to:
- Identify and display your connected LinkedIn profile inside your ChatCoat workspace.
- Publish user-approved text, image, and link posts to your LinkedIn feed.
- Monitor publication status and share URNs.
- Execute scheduled post deletion if specified for temporary promotions.
4. Security & No-Sale Policy
All LinkedIn credentials and tokens are encrypted at rest. ChatCoat never sells, rents, or shares your LinkedIn member data with third parties or data brokers.
5. Access Revocation & Data Deletion
You can revoke LinkedIn permissions and delete your data at any time:
Via LinkedIn Settings: Visit LinkedIn Permitted Services and click Remove next to ChatCoat.
In ChatCoat: Click Disconnect LinkedIn under Integrations.
