Snapchat Integration Privacy Policy

1. Snap Developer Terms & Policies Compliance
ChatCoat integrates with Snap Marketing API / Snapchat Public Profile API using the authorized snapchat-profile-api OAuth permission scope to allow businesses and creators to manage and publish Stories and Spotlight content.
- Snap Terms of Service: By connecting Snapchat, you agree to comply with Snap Terms of Service.
- Snap Privacy Policy: Our processing of Snapchat data adheres to the Snap Privacy Policy.
2. Snapchat Data We Access and Collect
When you connect your Snapchat account via OAuth 2.0, we access:
- Public Profile Identity: Public Profile ID, Display Name, Snapchat Username, Avatar/Logo URLs, subscriber count, and profile description.
- OAuth Tokens: Encrypted access tokens, refresh tokens, token expiration timestamps, and authorized permission scopes.
- Publishing Content & Media: Uploaded images/videos, captions, and publication status records.
3. How We Use Snapchat Data
Snapchat data is used strictly to:
- Authenticate your account and identify linked Public Profiles.
- Publish scheduled Stories and Spotlight video snaps to your selected Public Profile.
- Display connection health and profile status in your ChatCoat dashboard.
4. Security & No-Sale Policy
All Snapchat access tokens and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-level Fernet symmetric encryption. We never sell, rent, or share your Snapchat data with third-party data brokers or advertisers.
5. Revocation & Data Deletion
You can disconnect your Snapchat account at any time:
In ChatCoat: Click Disconnect Snapchat under Integrations to immediately delete all stored OAuth access tokens and profile records.
