YouTube Integration Terms of Service

YouTube API Services Integration
ChatCoat integrates directly with official YouTube API Services to provide video and Shorts publishing, scheduling, metadata controls, and comment automations. As a condition of using YouTube features within ChatCoat, all users must adhere to YouTube brand policies, the YouTube Terms of Service, and the Google Privacy Policy.
1. Binding Agreement to YouTube Terms of Service
By connecting your YouTube channel, uploading videos or Shorts, or utilizing YouTube features within ChatCoat, you expressly agree to be bound by:
2. Channel Ownership and Authority
You warrant that you are the lawful owner or authorized administrator of the YouTube channel connected to your ChatCoat workspace, and you possess all rights and licenses necessary to authorize video uploads, comment interactions, and post deletions.
3. Automated Video Uploads & Comment Management
ChatCoat acts solely on your instruction when publishing videos, YouTube Shorts, or responding to comments via official YouTube API Services. You are solely responsible for all content, titles, descriptions, tags, and automated comment replies published via your channel.
4. Data Lifecycle, 30-Day Limits & Device Storage Disclosures
In accordance with YouTube Developer Policies Section III.A.2.g and III.E.4.a-g:
- Device & Cookie Disclosure (Policy III.A.2.g): ChatCoat stores, accesses, and collects information directly or indirectly on or from users' devices, and allows essential technical infrastructure providers to place, access, or recognize session cookies and browser storage technologies solely to operate, authenticate, and secure the service.
- 30-Day Refresh Frequency (Policy III.E.4.a): Channel profile data is automatically updated from YouTube API Services at least every 30 days, or on-demand via the "Refresh Channel Data" button.
- Prohibition on Storing YouTube Statistics (Policy III.E.4.c, d): ChatCoat does not store or display YouTube statistics or metrics (e.g. view counts, subscriber counts, watch time) retrieved as Authorized or Non-Authorized Data for more than 30 days. ChatCoat does not collect historical statistics.
- Interaction Data Purging (Policy III.E.4.b, f): All temporary comment threads and interaction logs retrieved to execute comment replies are purged within 30 days.
5. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You agree not to use ChatCoat to:
- Upload copyright-infringing audio, video, or unauthorized third-party media.
- Distribute spam, deceptive metadata, artificially inflated engagement, or scams.
- Publish hate speech, violence, or content violating YouTube Community Guidelines.
- Circumvent or exceed Google API daily quota and rate limits.
6. Access Revocation & Disconnection
You may disconnect your YouTube Channel at any time in the Integrations dashboard or revoke ChatCoat's permissions directly via Google Security Settings. For complete data deletion, visit our Data Deletion Instructions.
7. YouTube Brand & Trademark Notice
YouTube, the YouTube logo, and other YouTube marks and logos are trademarks of Google LLC. ChatCoat is an independent third-party software service and is not endorsed by, directly affiliated with, maintained, authorized, or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC. All product and company names are the registered trademarks of their respective owners. The use of any trade name or trademark is for identification and reference purposes only and does not imply any endorsement or affiliation with the trademark holder.
